“Following the debate on #gasolineprices, do not forget that the best option is compressed natural gas for vehicles. It is cheap, clean and is available.” Those were the exact words the Minister of Mining and Energy pronounced through one of the most popular social networks on the Internet.
The rising price of gasoline had a massive rejection when, on March 12, the ‘No Fueling Day’ was held across the country. The demonstration was meant for users not to fuel at the stations. The next day, Cardenas said: “I share concerns over the price of gasoline. We are working on a comprehensive proposal amending taxes and other issues.”
