Regarding latest statistics, the total Peruvian CNG fleet reached the amount of 89,524 units by May, while there were 1,791 conversions to CNG during this month, a similar figure to the one performed in April.
Currently, there is more CNG refueling stations availability compared to the number of converted vehicles fleet. Some years ago there were 1,000 CNG vehicles per facility but today 765 vehicles can be serviced per station.
Gascop Company is going through the final stages of the construction of a compression and CNG service station in two refueling facilities located in the cities of Piura and Chiclayo. After this first phase, it is expected that these works continue in the cities of Trujillo and Tumbes.
