According to the Venezuelan Chamber of Automakers (Cavenez, as in its Spanish acronym), the production of dual fuel vehicles (gas-gasoline) increased 10,6 % last September. The report states that in August the country produced 3.393 CNG units, while in September 3.756 units were manufactured.
So far, 16.893 vehicles propelled by natural gas have been produced in the country. It is worth mentioning that a national resolution of the government oblige the OEMs to produce 30% of its production with NGVs.
