Together with urban transport companies of San Luis Potosi and officials from both the state and municipal governments, Dina Camiones executives unveiled the Mexican manufactured Linner G model, which is equipped with NGV system. The vehicle is set to cover one of the routes operated by Tangamanga company.
In late October, the bus operator will undertake various tests around the capital city of the state of San Luis Potosi in order to evaluate its performance. During the presentation of the vehicle, which took place at the Central Library of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi, Claudia Gutierrez, Sustainable Transport director at Dina Camiones, stressed the importance of the commitment to sustainable mobility through the adoption of a clean fuel technology, such as natural gas.
As part of the launch ceremony, the Secretary of Communications and Transport from the State Government Joel de Anda also delivered his speech.
Among its characteristics, the Dina Linner G helps reducing emissions, achieves up to 40% cut in fuel costs compared to diesel vehicles and is designed to carry up to 80 passengers.
Recently, NGVJournal.com reported that Dina buses operated by Autotransportes Guadalajara El Salto have achieved huge savings over the last two months.
