Eurotrucks, part of the Euroamerica group, added three new Stralis Hi-Road CNG units and three extra heavy Hi-Way trucks to its fleet. The company has more than 100 vehicles of CNH Industrial’s brand and offers integral solutions for international trade, integrating the logistics chain with efficiency, responsibility and transparency.
“We continue to trust IVECO. We go through all the ranges of the brand and now we bet on CNG trucks. For us it is very important to expand and renew our fleet. We know that with the new CNG trucks we not only take care of the environment, but also reduce our logistics costs, as this is the most economical and profitable option for our business,” said Daniel Swier, Vice President of Euroamerica.
The new Stralis Hi-Road CNG vehicles acquired by the Buenos Aires-based company have high technology, design and equipment superior to their diesel counterparts, with a fuel saving benefit of between 40% and 50%.
The trucks have an AT440S33T/P Cursor 8 configuration, and as they are powered by CNG their gas emission presents extraordinary reductions of 10% in carbon dioxide emissions that can reach 95% if biomethane is used as fuel; it also offers up to 90% nitrogen dioxide reduction. They have a hydraulic retarder, ESP and air suspension on the rear axle.
“Each fleet renewal is a very important effort and allows us to prepare and position ourselves for a future in which we aspire to continue being an excellent partner for all companies that develop in foreign trade,” added Swier.
