During the launching, Albert also explained: “This is a vehicle powered by natural gas and covers the different delivery stands to replace the bikes, wherever they are needed. We currently have four upgraded vehicles and one of them is the unit we have presented today.”
The official stated that with this acquisition, “we are improving our close bond with the environmental issues and the service management through the new Bicicas Control Centre. Furthermore, this computer system has information on real-time status related to any delivery point and their implications, and more information and capacity to solve unexpected problems.”
“The use of natural gas as a vehicle fuel has important qualities. It is an alternative option to diesel and reduces emissions: 80% less nitrogen oxides and 90% less particulate than the most environmentally friendly diesel engine,” Albert added.
