The new vehicles join 15 Bredamenarini’s eight-meter CNG Vivacity midibuses, which have been operating in three different services of the EMT since April. As a result, the Italian manufacturer is part of this public transport company with a total of 54 units.
The Avantcity Plus CNG is a clean vehicle that complies with European emission standards. It is powered by six CNG cylinders with a capacity for 214 litres each (1,284 litre in total), which ensures a proper driving range for the service provided by the EMT. The bus has capacity for 98 passengers and also meets the stringent requirements for accessibility.
These vehicles will be based in the Sanchinarro Operations Centre, the EMT’s site exclusively dedicated to NGVs.
