The 2015’s FIA Alternative Energy World Cup seems to have all the requirements to become a passionate challenge between at least 5 or 6 teams that are capable to compete at high levels. Among them, Ecomotori Racing Team couldn’t miss out: Ventura-Guerrini couple obtained the provisional leadership in the Alternative Energy Cup with the 500 EcoAbarth powered by methane.
After the brilliant results achieved at the Eco-Snow Trophy, that took place in late January on the snowy valley of Primiero, between Trentino e Veneto, Italy, Nicola Ventura e Guido Guerrini conquered the top spots of their respective categories, as driver and co-driver. Provisional primacy was also achieved in the constructor category for the 500 EcoAbarth with Cavagna-Bigas methane system.
It’s worth to say that the high competitiveness of many teams have kept the competition alive and kicking until the end. Ecomotori Racing Team didn’t make any mistakes or distractions and this took the team on the second step of the podium at the end the first day of competition and the final victory at the end of the whole race that was 360 km long with 15 special tests on snowy and iced routes.
The only certainty of this season beginning is that, in spite of the fact that many teams changed their cars and crews, values are not changed: 500 EcoAbarth with Cavagna-Bigas methane system confirms its familiarity with the first places of the podium, winning the first event of 2015, after the triumph in 2014 championship.
