According to an article published by ERR News, both cities will introduce a total of seven LNG MAN Lions City buses and also three Tata Area TML CNG hybrids.
In October, the Maanteeanet signed the contract funded by proceeds of an emissions credit trade made between Estonia and Spain. The new buses purchase involved an investment of €4.3 million.
It is worth mentioning that public transport operator Sebe AS introduced natural gas buses in the City of Tartu two years ago. By the end of 2012, Estonia had already deployed 200 NGVs, while there are four CNG filling stations in operation up to date.
