On September 6, the kick-off roundtable event was held in Moscow as part of the rally’s 10th GasSUF-2012, an international exhibition of gas distribution technologies. There, representatives from the Russian State Duma, Gazprom, E.ON Ruhrgas, the National Association for Natural Gas Vehicles and Russian-German energy agency Rudea gathered to discuss the innovation in the field of natural gas and challenges facing its development.
Following GasSUF, on September 8 the vehicles will begin its drive. The keynote event will be in Brussels on September 17, where European Union officials will participate in an open discussion of how natural gas vehicles can positively impact Europe’s economy and environment.
Among many others, participants include the Automotive Industry Institute and Mercedes Benz dealer MB Poznan from Poland, which will showcase the Mercedes Sprinter NGT. These crews will have their highlight event when roundtable in Warsaw takes places on September 12, organized under the support of the Polish Ministry of Economy.
