The bus made its first stage of refueling in Nantes. The following steps were Poitiers, Bourges, Clermont Ferrand and Saint-Etienne. The arrival of the vehicle to Valence took place on Thursday, April 5.
For this initiative, GNVERT has mobilized its team to ensure fuel supplies were given in the best conditions. Currently, the subsidiary of GDF Suez operates and maintains more than 40 CNG stations for heavy vehicles (buses, refuse collection and delivery trucks) and about 100 CNG stations for light vehicles (commercial fleets).
The French Association of Natural Gas for Vehicles (AFGNV) welcomes Tsunami’s acquisition, and is closely following the updates of this bus. Moreover, it has recently unveiled a document with future prospects of natural gas vehicles in France, which highlights the development of NGV market especially in heavy duty transportation.
