The new Tata Magic Iris CNG is expected to replace the auto rickshaws in Pune’s city transport and along with that, be a safer, more comfortable and an economical option compared to the ubiquitous three wheelers.
The Magic Iris is a three-door minivan with five seats and a top speed of 34 mph (55 km/h). The standard variant is powered by an 11 hp (8 kW) diesel engine and it has been launched in some parts of the country.
It is worth recalling that Tata Motors has recently tested another NGV version of one of its models, in that case the maxi van Winger.
