“We have already trialed the first two Iveco Stralis and we achieved a much lower consumption than expected. This result makes our investment even more profitable and environmentally friendly, thus to confirm the importance of CNG as the most efficient alternative to conventional fuels,” said Ivan Tobiev, Arena IT managing director.
The trucks feature the Cursor 8 engine 7800 cc, EEV compressed natural gas, which reach a maximum power of 330 hp. With this technology, there is a reduction of about 10% of CO2 and 95% of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
Iveco is a leader in NGV manufacture and sales around the European market with over 12,000 vehicles in operation, of which 5,000 are Daily, 2,000 are medium and heavy-duty models and the remaining 5,000 are buses.
