The truck manufacturer had plans to sign an agreement of intent with the Government of Leningrad Oblast on September 19. A press conference was organized with the participation of Aleksandr Drozdenko, Governor of Leningrad Oblast, and Sergey Kogogin, General Director of Kamaz.
Rafael Batyrshin, CEO of RariTEK, which is Kamaz’s dealers in Russia’s Northwestern Federal District, talked about the NGV range’s features, its maintenance and repair. The representatives of Gazprom introduced the program of development of a natural gas fueling infrastructure in the region.
Under the state program of vehicles conversion to natural gas, there are two cooperation agreements in force: between Gazprom and the Government of St. Petersburg (signed in June 2013), between Gazprom Gazomotornoye Toplivo and the Government of Leningrad Oblast (signed in September 2012).
Kamaz and Nefaz CNG vehicles are already operating in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast.
