During an event held this week, Mercedes-Benz Buses and its authorized dealer Zapata Monterrey officially launched the Torino CNG, which is assembled at the Nuevo Leon plant.
The model uses clean technologies and provides a natural gas powered system, delivering safety, comfort and emissions reduction in comparison with diesel driven vehicles.
The launch was attended by representatives of the urban transport sector in Nuevo Leon, from companies such as CTM, Grupo Lazcano, Grupo Transregio, Ruta 400 and the Ecovía BRT system. The participants had the opportunity to obtained detailed information about the new product and its benefits.
As a result, Mercedes-Benz is expanding its NGV portfolio in the country and demonstrates its commitment to an efficient and eco-friendly mobility. A month ago, the German brand introduced the compressed natural gas powered Urviabus HDX in the State of Mexico.
