More and more Mexican carriers are betting on the deployment of natural gas tractors. In this case, Trucka has acquired nine Scania R410 trucks with Euro 6 CNG engines. With this addition, the logistics services company already has 56 vehicles of the Swedish manufacturer in its fleet and is one of the firms with the most Scania vehicles in Mexico.
“At Scania we are very happy that managers of Trucka continue to choose us. They are company committed to the environment and, with these new trucks, they will continue to contribute to the benefit of everyone and the planet, in addition to being an emblematic company in our country,” said Mauricio De Alba, Director of Cargo Transport Solutions at Scania Mexico.
With this number of Scania trucks in the Trucka fleet, a Customers Workshop Service (CWS), that is, a Scania workshop at Trucka’s own facilities, will soon be operational, with a maintenance policy that will allow greater productivity and profitability.
The trucks are powered by the Scania OC13 101 natural gas engine of 13 liters, 410 HP and a torque of 1,475 lb-ft.
