The official also described the new route as the first step in using cutting-edge technology for public transportation. “We have decided to make a change in mobility. For this administration, the most important investment is public transportation,” Ebrard Casaubon stated.
Moreover, chairwoman of the RTP Ariadna Montiel Reyes explained that this is the first natural gas powered fleet nationwide. The 30 buses have a capacity to carry 91 passengers and will reduce more than 3,000 tons of pollutant emissions.
