DHL Supply Chain Mexico announced its new fleet of CNG vehicles with which the company seeks to strengthen its commitment to the environment and to the reduction of greenhouse gases (GHG). The fleet presented consists of five SHACMAN 3305 natural gas trucks that will contribute significantly to increasing the supply of green solutions to the local market.
The reduction of the carbon footprint that these vehicles will achieve, considering that in 2021 more than 1,189,000 trips were made (an increase of 9.5% compared to 2020), will exceed 1,889 tons of CO2 equivalent, a reduction of 50% compared to diesel models. In addition, the new NGVs have a range of 1,200 kilometers.
