All the vans were converted in a period of just three months and are equipped with a four CNG-cylinder engine. The new fleet will refuel at an Argos station, located at Rotterdam The Hague airport. Besides, a second CNG fuelling point is being installed at another Argos station, in the south of the city.
“A third station in Boezembocht will be ready by mid-2012”, stated Jeroen Jones, manager automotive at CNG Net, Ballast Nedam’s subsidiary, which operates a network of natural gas stations in the Netherlands. “In total, there are currently more than 60 filling stations where NGVs can refuel,” he added.
According to RCM director Sjaak de Winter, the company is proud of its new fleet but also keeps eyes and ears open for new developments. “As a services company, we continue to watch developments and new forms of sustainable transport. For now, we won the first major battle when it comes to the environment,” he said. dubaiescortstars.com
