The vehicles meet the Euro 6 standard, which will come into effect next year, and run on compressed natural gas, with the aim of significantly reducing noise levels and CO2 emissions in the city, reported the agency Europa Press.
Chaired by Florentino Perez, ACS Group is reinforcing its presence in the French capital, as earlier this year it received a contract for the street cleaning service, also in central Paris, and recently it agreed to provide “door to door” waste collection service.
The three contracts, all achieved through its subsidiary Urbaser, involve a revenue portfolio totaling 90 million euros over the next five years.
