This eco-friendly and economical model was launched three years ago. For its characteristics, it was strongly introduced in the taxis segment. The price of the vehicle including the CNG pieces of equipment is USD 14,826 and it offers the right financing for a taxi driver’s budget. The loan repayment is made by means of a chip called “Fuel Collection”.
“The good news for 2012 is that we are signing agreements with banks and financial bodies such us Caja Huancayo and Banco de Comercio. We have also restructured the financing program with Banco Financiero and Caja de Ica. Moreover, the Metropolitan Taxi Program will be launched once again with funding from Caja Metropolitana de Lima,” said Jorge Mongilardi, general manager of Ecolínea.
“It is a Station Wagon SUV with original steering wheel, more cargo space and it features Emer CNG equipment that allows greater natural gas control and supply to the engine, less power loss, higher performance and is safe for both vehicle and user,” the executive explained.
