On January 27, the new buses that will service Unibus Puerto Vallarta as part of the Integrated Public Transport System (SITRAN) were presented. More than 300 DINA Linner G and Runner 9 G buses will be incorporated gradually from February to June and will feature natural gas engine, EPA 13 environmental certificate, cameras, card payment and speeding lights, among other features.
The presentation was made jointly by Transportes Unidos de la Costa and Servando Sepúlveda, Secretary of Mobility of Jalisco.
There will be a total of 327 buses, of which 105 will be Linner G and the rest Runner 9G. The first corridor is expected to start at the end of February with the arrival of the first 47 vehicles, which will cover 30 kilometers daily benefiting more than 20,000 users in one of the main tourist spots in the country.
With this delivery, DINA reinforces its leadership in the promotion of massive sustainable urban public transport, since it is one of the pioneer companies in Mexico to implement the natural gas technology in its buses.
Along with other companies and organizations committed to the development and promotion of this clean fuel, DINA will be part of AltFuels Mexico 2018, which will take place on 23-26 April at the World Trade Center of Mexico City bringing together numerous actors from the industry interested in the latest advances in NGV, CNG, LNG, biogas/biomethane, dual fuel, electricity and hydrogen technologies.
