NGV rally Blue Corridor’2011 involves 18 vehicles in total -trucks, cars and buses- that will drive up to 3.5 thousand kilometers across Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Orenburg, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd, Voronezh, Tambov, and Tula. The final destination is Moscow where the final meeting and presentation of diplomas will take place.
As the main objective is to promote CNG as the most environmentally friendly and economically attractive automobile fuel, these regional centers were chosen because they have great potential for NGV market expansion. Besides, everybody will have an opportunity to appreciate the vehicles.
Kamaz fleet includes a low-entry city bus NEFAZ-5299-30-31, a garbage truck Minipak MK2 on a KAMAZ-4308 chassis and a dual-purpose vehicle with a crane-manipulator on KAMAZ-43114, which last Saturday left for Yekaterinburg to participate in the rally. The vehicles were developed jointly with OOO RariTEK, KAMAZ’s partner producing NGVs.
