ATM Ravenna is renewing its fleet with new Irisbus Iveco Citelis CNG buses, which were delivered through its dealer Maresca and Fiorentino and that will help the transport company to save operating costs and also reduce emissions through the Iveco Cursor 8 engine.
The 12 metres-units are capable of transporting up to 90 passengers, have space for wheelchairs and are equipped with air conditioning. In turn, they have low floor and kneeling device for lateral bending at stops in order to facilitate the ascent and descent of the vehicle as there are no steps.
The 12 new buses will be used mainly in the coast routes of the city of Ravenna and, due to their flexibility, will replace 18 year-old diesel vehicles, which are close to disappearing even in the suburban routes.
