With the presence of the vice president and CEO of Castrosua, Juan Luis Castro, and CEO of Natural Gas Servicios (on behalf of Gas Natural Fenosa), Josep Codorniu, both companies agreed to work in R&D to develop hybrid vehicles running on CNG and electrics.
These firms will also manufacture prototypes to enable the use of liquefied natural gas in long-distance intercity vehicles and will cooperate in the development and dissemination of loyalty campaigns aimed at end customers of both companies.
It is worth mentioning that Castrosua recently presented the Tempus CNG, the hybrid bus in its gas-electric version, at the International Fair of the Bus and Coach (FIAA as its Spanish acronym). In addition, the firm exhibited four city buses models, the City Versus with Citelis CNG chassis, the MAN A-22 CNG, the Volvo B9SLA and the Scania N280 UB.
