Hiper Usera has just reinforced its fleet of vehicles with the incorporation of new CNG vans, which will be used for maintenance work at the company’s facilities and points of sale, located in the Community of Madrid and the provinces of Toledo and Guadalajara.
In this way, Hiper Usera’s total number of vans of this type rises to 16, in addition to the 38 cars and a truck that also run on natural gas and that complete its fleet. In total, the company has more than 50 NGVs.
The commitment to the environment is one of the great values of Hiper Usera, and they continue to grow thanks to acquisitions like these, which are already common in recent years and have already become one of the hallmarks of the company.
This is only a part of the actions that Hiper Usera has been exercising in environmental matters in recent years. Since 2017, it has been carrying out a series of reforms in the points of sale, where elements such as LED lights or Carrier cold rooms are being incorporated, which emit less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. For each of the stores that are renovated, they contribute to reducing a total of 5,000 tons of carbon dioxide, the equivalent of the withdrawal of 2,000 diesel or 2,500 gasoline-powered cars.
