The new facility utilizes time-fill fuelling technology that allows drivers to supply their trucks during overnight hours, minimizing administrative and operational downtime.
President and CEO of Veolia Environmental Service Solid Waste, Jim Long, said: “As a domestic alternative energy solution, CNG is better for the environment and more efficient to operate than traditional diesel, so our customers can feel good knowing that their waste service provider is part of the environmental solution.”
CNG trucks are equipped with automated collection arms that will increase efficiency and further reduce emissions and the time they are in operation.
Veolia ES Solid Waste is part of Veolia Environmental Services North America Corp. and provides a full range of services in 12 states, the Bahamas and Canada.
