“What’s crucial for the carbon footprint of biofuels isn’t just their CO2 emissions on the road but also the emissions when they’re being produced. Our verbiogas is biomethane and hence chemically identical to natural gas, so any NGV will run smoothly on it. In addition, manufacturing verbiogas is far kinder for the environment,” stated Claus Sauter, CEO of Verbio.
“The amount of CO2 that can be saved is almost beyond words,” added Sauter. “This comparison ought to make drivers reconsider and put pressure on carmakers by changing their buying habits.”
