The new 22 natural gas fueling sites have opened in nine different provinces of Argentina. Six of them started operations in Buenos Aires, five in Córdoba, four in Santiago del Estero and two in Santa Fe; Entre Rios, Jujuy, Neuquén, Salta and Tucuman added a single location each.
According to Telam news agency, the filling stations owners consider that CNG complements the lower profitability of liquid fuels.
One of the latest milestones related to fueling infrastructure nationwide is the opening of the first CNG station in the city of San Martin de los Andes, in the Argentine Patagonia.
Definitely, the number natural gas powered vehicles is on the increase in the country, with more than 100,000 vehicles converted during 2013 to date.
