The facility, which covers 800 square meters, features four hoses supplying natural gas and is receiving a large number of people during the summer in Argentina. The lot for the construction of the station was awarded by the Municipality of Monte Hermoso, and it took three years for the project to materialize.
Monte Hermoso’s first CNG station is 107 km. from the city of Bahia Blanca, where 13 natural gas filling facilities have been opened so far. Other neighboring towns with NGV fueling service are: Coronel Dorrego, Punta Alta, Carmen de Patagones, Viedma, Pigüé, Saldungaray, Coronel Pringles, Buratovich, Pedro Luro and Coronel Suárez.
Before the opening of the new station, the inhabitants of Monte Hermoso with natural gas vehicles had to travel 38 kilometers to load fuel to a CNG facility located in the city of Coronel Dorrego.
