“Yesterday (Tuesday) we had the gas authorization from Camuzzi with people who came from Bariloche,” said Marcelo Imondi, president of GNC Patagonia SA. Thus, after gas testing and venting the site was in conditions to start with the sale of compressed natural gas in the southern city.
The station’s access is on Manuel Castilla Street, with a refueling area featuring three pumps and a state-of-the-art compression equipment, and restrooms for customers and business offices. The initiative also includes a shopping center that currently has four premises installed, reported local newspaper San Martín a Diario.
“We aim to offer an economic fuel, which is what is missing in San Martin de los Andes,” said Imondi and added: “CNG technology has been enhanced tremendously and natural gas vehicles have also improved their range.”
