Cochabamba filling station, unveiled last week by President Evo Morales and YPFB chairman Carlos Villegas, has a CNG compressor with storage capacity of 1,200 cubic meters, and two platforms with two natural gas dispensers. The initiative aims to ensure that the bi-oceanic highway has a fueling point for regional heavy transportation that carries raw materials and food from the Atlantic to the Pacific and vice versa.
Moreover, the facility opened in Tarija features a three-stage CNG compressor with storage capacity of 1,250 cubic meters and two dispensers with four hoses of 250 bar pressure. The opening of “Palos Blancos” station was attended by Villegas and Villa Montes Mayor Roberth Camacho Valdez. 20bet ios
“The Chaco region of Tarija has become one of the main contributors to the Bolivian economy. Nature was generous with the Bolivian Chaco, the most important lots of land and natural gas producers are in this region, so YPFB compensates the contribution with this investment,” said Villegas.
