“We have 15 projects regarding NGV fuel infrastructure in La Paz Department, in both La Paz and El Alto cities. We expect these constructions to start in eight to ten months, but first we are waiting for the plans to be approved,” Villarroel told the press, according to an article published by ABI news agency.
In March, Deputy Minister of Industrialization, Trade, Transport and Hydrocarbons Storage, Álvaro Arnez, had announced that negotiations with the Municipal Government of La Paz were held to cut some of the requirements established for building a CNG refueling station.
According to statistics published by the Executing Agency for NGV Conversion (EEC-GNV) there are 23 CNG filling stations in service in La Paz Department, while there are seven additional sites under construction.
