According to a report published by The Jakarta Post, members of PGN board of directors met with Governor Joko Widodo at the City Hall and both parties agreed to accelerate a plan to build eight new CNG stations and expand the LNG distribution network in the capital.
Around Jakarta, PGN operates 10 CNG stations and mobile refueling units (MRU), located in Pinang Ranti, Kampung Rambutan, Perintis Kemerdekaan, Rawa Buaya, Daan Mogot, Kramat Jati, Pemuda, Pesing, Kalideres, Tendean and the National Monument (Monas).
PGN director for business Jobi Triananda Hasjim revealed that the state-owned company together with city-owned PT Jakarta Energi Utama intends to construct eight CNG stations, two of which will MRUs located in Lapangan Banteng in Central Jakarta and Ragunan in South Jakarta.
