Energtek Herz d.o.o. Mostar, subsidiary of Energtek Inc., has already initiated works on the CNG filling station, which will receive the natural gas from state-owned BH Gas, and has signed 10-year period contracts to supply the fuel to Aluminij d.d. Mostar and FEAL d.o.o. Sirokij-Brijeg.
The project also involves an agreement with Italian Safe Gas Technology, which will provide the compressors. According to Energtek’s CEO Lev Zaidenberg, the purchase of this equipment is the “major step” necessary in order to have a functional CNG station ready in a short-term period.
“The filling station provides a strategic competitive advantage to our subsidiary, establishing it as the leading supplier of natural gas to the large number of potential consumers who are not connected to the regional pipeline system,” the executive added.
