The most important work includes the installation of new Ariel compressor packages and Trillium’s Smart Controls package. This new equipment will be integrated into MTS’ existing CNG systems to augment the compression and dispensing capacity while providing more cost effective operations.

About 75 per cent of MTS’s bus fleet are NGVs and the company is the largest user of CNG in San Diego County by operating 407 natural gas-powered buses.
