Tulsa Transit’s general manager, Bill Cartwright, said: “We had been working very hard to secure a funding source for our CNG fuelling station, so we were very excited to learn that we are the recipients of this substantial Clean Fuels grant award”.
The grant is part of USD 164.7 million being awarded by the Federal Transit Administration to urban and rural transit providers across the United States.
“I think this award demonstrates the federal government’s commitment to public transit, and to the environment”, added Cartwright.
