Gazprom Germania GmbH again commissioned Erdgas Mobil to construct the new fueling sites. That company was responsible for realizing the four CNG stations built last year. “We are making an important contribution to the development of green transport in the country,” said Vyacheslav Krupenkov, Senior Managing Director of Gazprom Germania GmbH.
“Natural gas as a motor fuel has huge potential to make mobility more efficient, more environmentally friendly, more cost-efficient, and safer both today and in the future. That’s why we’re continuing to invest in expanding our network of CNG stations”, added Krupenkov.
The company is also investing in the infrastructure necessary to operate natural gas vehicles throughout Europe. By the end of 2013, they expect to open another seven CNG stations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in collaboration with its subsidiary Vemex.
