According to the project’s managing director Rahmat Ahmad, the structures for the 200 “1Gas stations” will be prepared before the year-end with “fast building materials” aiming to expand natural gas supplying nationwide without subsidies.
Ahmad also said that the opportunity to participate in the NGV project is open to any investor with a strategic land in terms of location, measuring more than 33,000 sq ft in area and within a main town.
It is worth mentioning that the Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism, Datuk Rohani Karim, recently announced there are 46,000 vehicles running on CNG in the country.
