H2 Logic A/S, subsidiary of NEL ASA, has executed a binding technology transfer agreement with Mitsubishi Kakoki Kaisha, Ltd. (MKK), member of the Mitsubishi Group companies. The agreement includes a technology transfer and adaption of the H2Station® CAR-100 product for the Japanese market with the aim to achieve the first station in operation during 2016.
H2 Logic A/S will license the CAR-100 technology to MKK and assist in adapting the design for use in Japan. The collaboration is to expand MKK’s position in becoming a major player in supply and construction of hydrogen fueling stations in Japan, and will provide H2 Logic A/S access to the Japanese market.
Moreover, NEL Hydrogen AS, also a subsidiary of NEL ASA, has entered into a public-private partnership agreement with Akershus County Council for the rollout of a hydrogen refueling station in Akershus, in Norway.
Following the agreement, Akershus County Council will award a grant for the completion of a hydrogen refueling station to be located. The agreement is among the first public-private partnership agreements in the process of building a hydrogen infrastructure throughout Norway.
