The mega CNG station has been proposed under Shaheed Benazir Bhutto CNG Bus Programme, said a statement issued on Sunday. The land for the project has to be provided by the Sindh Transport Department, which has accorded its consent for the establishment of the dispensing point.
The Transport Department has to allocate two acres of land of ex-KTC Depots Korangi. The matter has been taken up with competent authority and soon the land will be handed over to the HDIP for execution of the project, reported the Associated Press of Pakistan news agency
Pakistan continues expanding its CNG refueling network. Recently, first compressed natural gas station for buses with Aspro technology was inaugurated in the city of Multan, province of Sindh.
