With the opening of “El Ovalo” station, which is the number 35 of its natural gas stations network, PGN seeks to expand its coverage and supply the gaseous fuel to those places that do not yet have access to distribution pipelines.
To achieve this, PGN has implemented a system that consists of filling a CNG storage container in a mother station and then transferred the fuel, via trucks, to a daughter station where it is connected to the pumps.
PGN has a wide network of refuelling points in the country, serving over 20 districts of Metropolitan Lima and Callao. The company also operates two mega stations that will fuel the 600 buses of the Metropolitan corridor’s NGV fleet: GaSur and GasNorte, located in the districts of Chorrillos and Comas.
