As the Municipality of Lima reported, the complex has a cutting edge CNG service station, one of the largest of the “Metropolitano”, with 5 simultaneous supplying points for the bus fleet. Each supplying pump is able to fuel the tanks of articulated units in about four minutes.
Besides, it has modern workshops consisting of six inspection areas, parts storages and a repair sector. There is also an extensive parking area with capacity for 102 articulated and 59 feeder buses.
Another service offered is the laundry area, where the fleet is watered with and automatic machine capable to wash an articulated bus in 90 seconds. The installation is completely ecological since it reuses 90% of the water.
Finally, the recently opened building has administrative areas, including dining hall, kitchen, locker rooms, auditorium, training rooms, offices for social assistance and first aid area.
The mayor of Lima Luis Castañeda Lossio was present at the opening ceremony.
