Naturgy and Disfrimur opened the first natural gas station in Molina de Segura. It is located in one of the facilities of DFM Rent a Car (company that belongs to the Disfrimur Group) and is the first in the Region of Murcia that allows to supply natural gas both in its compressed and liquefied ways, for light and heavy vehicles respectively.
Molina de Segura is currently one of the Region of Murcia’s municipalities that concentrates the largest volume of transport companies. Therefore, the commissioning of this natural gas station will facilitate the use of a more economical and sustainable fuel for existing fleets in the region. Likewise, this facility will also serve public fleets, such as garbage collection trucks and urban and intercity passenger transport.
This new refueling station, which joins two other existing in Murcia that supply CNG to both public fleets and private vehicles, will allow a radial refuel to carriers that travel the Mediterranean corridor, increasing the competitiveness of the transport sector.

Moreover, the Manager of Disfrimur, Juan Sánchez, commented: “Our company has opted for the use of natural gas for more than 10 years because, at present, it is a viable and sustainable alternative for the road transport of goods. Thanks to our alliance with Naturgy, we will end up operating 10 NGV stations in our area of influence, the Mediterranean arch.”
The natural gas refueling network continues to grow in Spain and the new map of refueling points will allow to meet the increasing demand and strengthen the availability of this fuel in the market, given the wider acceptance that NGVs are experiencing.
