Mayor of Guadalajara Antonio Roman and Director of Mobility Solutions of Gas Natural Fenosa José Ramón Freire launched the refueling facility, located in the industrial area “El Henares” in the city of Guadalajara. It consists of two compressors up to 800 cubic meters/hour and three dual CNG pumps.
The new station has a capacity to fill over 125 vehicles per day and will serve 21 city buses. It will also be used by other municipal fleets as waste collection or street cleaning trucks and other private cars running on natural gas.
Spain has a total of 38 public CNG filling stations, 22 owned by Gas Natural Fenosa. Among all the facilities, 20 supply CNG, 16 supply both CNG and LNG and two supply only LNG.
