The T was among the first U.S. transit agencies in the late-1980s to commit to conversion of its entire fleet to CNG. Moreover, in 2009 it began a national transit natural gas coalition to assist public transportation agencies interested in converting their vehicles and as an information exchange for other transit users, manufacturers and vendors.
It is worth mentioning that Trillium USA, previously owned by Wagner & Brown, Ltd., has been recently acquired by Integrys Energy Group, Inc. This transaction allows Integrys to enter the CNG fuelling marketplace, demonstrate capability to customers and enable market growth.
