After having purchased five wellhead compressor packages, Shell trusts Galileo Technologies to increase natural gas production in Loma Campana, province of Neuquén, Argentina.
The compressor equipment is part of the Microskid Process MX 200® line, which is one of Galileo’s iconic wellhead compressor packages. Each unit has a 3-stage MX 200® reciprocating compressor to allow for a suction pressure of 4 bar and a discharge pressure of 85 bar, and a 280 hp gas engine. Its features are certified for assembly in dangerous areas.
“Based on these units purchased by Shell, we continue adding hp to Vaca Muerta’s unconventional gas formation,” stressed Pablo del Campo, Galileo Technologies Production Manager.
Equipped with an MX 200 reciprocating compressor, this natural gas compression package offers a wide range of suction and discharge pressures. This results in a portable and plug-and-play configuration that does not require civil work or auxiliary equipment. Thus, a fast connection and commissioning ensure an effective response to every challenge.
