The Linde Group’s company is launching its innovative new mobile LNG refueling unit at the Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show 2015, in Birmingham. The refueler can be used to supply LNG to up to 30 vehicles and is perfect for medium sized fleets which require a low complexity, rapidly deployed dispensing solution. The BOC zero loss system includes a liquid nitrogen temperature conditioning system with vapor recovery to maximize efficiency and recover warm vent gases from the vehicle.
“We are delighted to introduce our new and innovative LNG mobile refueler to the UK and Ireland market. This leading technology is part of BOC’s portfolio of refueling options and is spearheading our commitment, as a responsible supplier, to developing cost-effective, green fuel solutions for fleet vehicle operators, including smaller operators,” said Nathan Palmer, BOC Director of Bulk and Packaged Gas.
Developed by BOC, the new LNG mobile refueler eliminates LNG methane losses, saving money and emissions and delivering a quicker, consistent refueling time. Performance features of the unit include accurate data management, with mass flow metering. It works with customer’s existing fuel management system to monitor fleet usage and trip data, and is also linked to BOC’s 24 hour GOLD delivery planning system, ensuring delivery on time, every time.
The unit showcases the brand’s new visual identity for the business which was designed specifically with the BOC LNG trailers in mind. The simple and elegant new livery design ties in with the environmental messages and also conveys the transition of the UK vehicle fleet to clean tail pipe emissions.
