Founded in 1954 and based in Cavriago (Reggio Emilia, Italy), Landi Renzo designs, produces and sells components and alternative fuel systems for CNG and LPG motor propulsion. It includes methane mixing systems, injection systems and components.
The company trades under four separate brands: Landi Renzo, Landi, Lovato gas and A.E.B. And it has two types of customers: vehicle manufacturers (OEM) and the aftermarket retailers and independent importers.
In the early 1960s, Officine Renzo Landi created a sales network covering the whole of Italy and at the same time, the company began exporting its products, mainly to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Japan, India and Brazil.
Due to its continuous growth, in 1998 the Dutch-law company Landi International was formed, through which Landi Renzo Polska was later incorporated in 1999 in order to obtain a direct presence in the Polish market.
In 2003, a production company was set up in Brazil, followed by one in China, in order to obtain a direct presence in the South American and Asian markets, and consolidate relations with car manufacturers in those areas.
Furthermore, the rising Middle East market was also incorporated to strengthen its presence worldwide. Manufacturing subsidiaries in Pakistan and Iran were opened in 2006 and 2008.
During last two years, more subsidiaries were established in Romania, Venezuela, India, Argentina and U.S.A.
The firm has already joined with major international OEMs to design and build systems to high-end vehicles. Moreover, it has created a division dedicated exclusively to products for car manufacturers in which it invests constantly.
Landi Renzo provides components or complete systems to largest carmakers. Ashok Leyland (India), Chevrolet (Germany, Algeria), Daihatsu (Italy, Pakistan), Daimler Chrysler (Worldwide), Dacia (Worldwide), Nissan (Italia), Fiat (Worldwide), Opel (Worldwide), Renault (Worldwide), Seat (Italy), Suzuki (China, Pakistan), Tata (India, Italy), Toyota ( Australia), Volkswagen (Argentina, Italy) are some of them.
Currently, the group has conquered a leading position in eco-mobility, with a market share of more than 35%, a presence in more than 50 countries and exports representing about 70%.
