Early in 2000, in order to supply the growing demand for natural gas cylinders, a new manufacture line was incorporated to the existing park, substantially increasing the manufacturing capacity of cylinders. Also in the first quarter of 2000, a modern industrial facility was inaugurated and started its production phase in Cajamar – SP, where cylinders for air gases and valves for air and natural gas are manufactured.
In the year of 2001, it upgraded the industrial park of Dutra’s factory, which made the manufacture of natural gas cylinders grow from 4,000 to 12,000 cylinders per month possible. In 2005, company’s structure was expanded through the setting up of the new factory of Jundiaí – SP thus reaching the manufacturing capacity of 40,000 cylinders / month; in July of 2006, the Recife factory was inaugurated, being the 4th Industrial MAT facility.
An increase in demand for NGV is expected for the next few years all over the world and MAT is continuously investing with the objective of meeting this demand in a substantial manner in the four continents to which MAT already exports its products.
